Roadmaps

A roadmap is a curated path toward a role: it collects the skills worth learning, in an order that makes sense, so you never have to ask "what should I learn next?"

The hierarchy, top to bottom

roadmap  →  skill  →  topic  →  step

• Roadmap — the destination ("AI Engineer"). Pick one and follow it, or ignore roadmaps entirely and take individual skills.
• Skill — one competency ("AWS Fundamentals"). A skill lists its topics in teaching order.
• Topic — one sitting, usually 45–90 minutes. Starting a topic boots the environment it needs — a plain Linux box, an AWS-connected machine, an AI-gateway machine — and walks you through its steps.
• Step — the unit of actual work: read a concept, complete a graded task in the terminal, make a scenario judgment call, or answer a quiz.

A skill can belong to several roadmaps at once — AWS Fundamentals counts toward both Cloud Engineer and Learn DevOps, and finishing it advances your progress in both.

Progress

Every step you complete is recorded, a topic is done when all its steps are, and a skill is done when its topics are. Your progress follows you across roadmaps — no step is ever counted twice or lost.
