escbashdocs

Introduction

escbash teaches DevOps, cloud, and AI engineering the only way that sticks: on real machines. Every lesson runs in a disposable Linux VM booted just for you, streamed to your browser as a live terminal. When you press Submit, real checks run inside your machine and grade what you actually did — no simulators, no videos to sit through, no multiple-choice-only certificates.

How learning is organized

The catalog is a tree, and every level has one job:

  • A roadmap is a guided path toward a role — currently 3 roadmaps built from 5 skills.
  • A skill is one competency, like Linux or AWS Fundamentals.
  • A topic is one sitting: a booted environment plus an ordered set of steps.
  • A step is where you work: a lesson to read, a task graded in your terminal, a scenario judgment call, or a quick quiz.

Zero setup, really

There is nothing to install and nothing to configure. Your machine boots in seconds with everything the topic needs preinstalled — language runtimes, CLIs, even live cloud credentials or a personal AI-gateway key where the topic calls for them. Close the session and the machine is destroyed; start again and you get a fresh one.
